POSITION SUMMARY

The Boutique Director serves as the senior leader and brand ambassador for the boutique, responsible for driving business performance, delivering exceptional client experience, and developing a high-performing team. This role oversees all aspects of boutique operations, including sales, client engagement, talent development, visual presentation, inventory management, and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & Team Development Lead, inspire, and develop a team of managers and associates to deliver exceptional customer service and business results. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment built on mutual respect, teamwork, and accountability. Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and retain top talent. Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans to support employee growth and succession planning. Sales & Business Performance Drive the boutique to meet or exceed daily, monthly, and annual sales goals. Analyze key performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, and profitability. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow revenue and enhance the customer experience. Client Experience & Relationship Management Champion a client-first culture that delivers a personalized and elevated shopping experience. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including high-value and VIP customers. Develop client outreach initiatives and retention programs to drive repeat business. Operations & Compliance Oversee all boutique operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company policies. Manage inventory control, stock levels, loss prevention, and operational audits. Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained and support the overall brand presentation.

PROFILE

5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience, preferably in luxury, fashion, or hospitality. Demonstrated success managing sales performance and achieving revenue goals. Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities. Based on-site, South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA.

COMPENSATION

Base salary: $110,000 per year Target incentive: $30,000 per year This figure reflects our good-faith estimate of the base salary we reasonably expect to pay upon hire. The final offer will depend on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and qualifications. Benefits include medical coverage (UnitedHealthcare HMO or PPO, with 85% of employee-only premium covered by Schiaparelli), paid time off, and employee discount.
