Production Operations ManagerLocation: Memphis, TN Metro areaIndustry: Specialty Manufacturing / Process OperationsPosition SummarySeeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to lead manufacturing, plant support systems, and workforce performance within a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, operational efficiency, product quality, and on-time customer delivery while developing a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery objectives.Promote a culture focused on workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.Manage and develop production teams, supervisors, and shift personnel.Improve plant performance through process optimization, waste reduction, and productivity initiatives.Oversee utilities and critical facility systems to ensure reliable operations.Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.Partner with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support business goals.Manage operating costs, budgets, and resource utilization to improve overall plant performance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Automation) or equivalent industrial leadership experience.Five or more years of manufacturing, production, or plant operations leadership experience.Prior experience leading teams in a chemical, process manufacturing, or industrial production environment.Strong knowledge of industrial safety, environmental, and quality management practices.Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.Familiarity with ISO-based quality, environmental, and safety standards.Understanding of process equipment, industrial controls, and automation systems.Experience with PLCs, DCS platforms, instrumentation, electrical systems, and plant utilities.Exposure to project management, capital improvements, and equipment reliability programs.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard engineering software.Ideal CandidateA hands-on manufacturing leader with a proven ability to improve operational performance, build strong teams, enhance safety culture, and deliver measurable business results in a complex industrial setting.BenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
