Inside Sales Representative

Direct Hire | Grand Rapids, MI | $27/hr | Hybrid (3 Days In Office)

Our client is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support and grow an existing book of business through account management, renewals, referrals, and exceptional customer service.

Overview

This is not a cold-calling role. The ideal candidate will focus on building relationships with existing customers, managing renewals, coordinating contracts, and partnering closely with outside sales representatives to drive growth and customer retention.

We're looking for someone who enjoys relationship management, solving customer problems, and delivering a high-touch customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of existing customer accounts
• Support contract renewals and account retention efforts
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional service
• Generate referrals and identify opportunities for account growth
• Prepare quotes, agreements, and account documentation
• Maintain accurate records within CRM systems
• Work closely with Outside Sales and internal teams to support customers
• Handle customer issues and provide timely resolutions
• Track activity and maintain account reporting
• Contribute toward monthly sales and retention goals

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2 years of Inside Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, or related experience
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with contracts, agreements, or customer documentation preferred
• CRM experience preferred
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
