The Inside Account Executive supports the Sales team in managing and growing customer relationships. This role initially functions in an inside sales capacity, partnering closely with a Senior Account Executive to support active opportunities, prepare quotes, coordinate proposals, and assist with existing account management.
As experience and proficiency increase, the Inside Account Executive will assume expanded responsibility in customer engagement, business development activities, and revenue generation, progressing toward a fully independent Account Executive role.
This role is designed as a foundational step in a long-term sales career with Twotrees Technologies. The Account Executive I will receive direct mentorship from senior sales leadership and gain hands-on experience across the full sales cycle, building the skills necessary to independently manage accounts and drive revenue growth.
Support the Senior Account Executive in developing new business by analyzing account potential, both within current customers and new prospects, assisting in initiating, developing, and closing sales.
Identify additional revenue potential in accounts by studying current business, engaging with key customers and company personnel, identifying and evaluating additional needs, and analyzing opportunities.
Initiate elements of the sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential opportunities, and scheduling appointments in coordination with the Senior Account Executive.
Assist in developing sales by supporting initial presentations; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; and introducing new products and services. Act as a client advocate to help ensure that customer demands are met with a focus on improving the overall customer experience.
Prepare accurate and timely quotes and coordinate pricing approvals.
Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, and activity documentation within the CRM system to ensure visibility and accountability.
Collect and analyze data concerning customer behavior to better understand changing needs.
Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results, identifying needs to be filled, monitoring competitive products, and relaying customer feedback.
Gain exposure to the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting strategy, solution positioning, contract negotiation, and account expansion planning.
As experience increases, gradually assume ownership of smaller accounts and segments under guidance from senior sales leadership.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations, and completing relevant vendor training related to hardware and software solutions.
Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Demonstrated ability to support sales efforts and contribute to revenue growth

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to explain basic technical topics in simple terms and respond effectively to client questions
Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks with limited direction
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, technology, or related field, or currently pursuing a degree in one of these areas, or equivalent professional experience
1 to 3 years of sales, inside sales, or account support experience
Industry experience, particularly in technology and hardware sales
This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and phones.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work required as job duties demand.
Business casual attire in the office and business professional attire when meeting with customers.
Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling materials, and preparing documentation.
Frequent visual focus when reviewing contracts, data, and other information on a computer screen.
Occasional standing for extended periods when presenting or attending meetings or events.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Communication, oral and written: Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams via phone, email, or other channels.
Timely attendance and punctuality: Must be able to maintain a regular schedule and arrive to work on time, as consistent and reliable attendance is critical to client interaction and internal collaboration.
Sitting, standing, or movement flexibility: Must be able to perform job functions while sitting or standing as necessary.
Use of computer and technology: Must be able to operate a computer and communication tools to document sales activities, enter data in the CRM system, and communicate with clients.
Travel: Must be able to travel to client sites or industry events as needed.
Cognitive abilities: Must be able to process information, make decisions, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced sales environment.
