In this role, you will operate paper cutting and bindery equipment to accurately cut, trim, prepare, and finish printed materials according to production specifications.Work Authorization:To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMYour Responsibilities:Set up and operate paper cutting and bindery equipment according to job specificationsCut, trim, prepare, and finish paper stock and printed materials for production and bindery operationsPerform routine preventative maintenance, including blade changes, lubrication, and machine cleaningInspect work for accuracy and quality throughout productionMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow written procedures, safety guidelines, and company policiesPerform other duties as assignedYou Must Have:Ability to read and understand work orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, and other job-related instructionsAbility to communicate effectively with team membersBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimalsAbility to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to become proficient in all aspects of the role within 90 daysRequirements Within This Position:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)We Would Also Prefer:Experience operating paper cutters, bindery, or finishing equipmentExperience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or print environmentKnowledge of paper cutter operation and maintenanceFamiliarity with bindery equipment and printing operationsThe anticipated hourly range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
