Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for students
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, teachers, and parents
• Collaborative mindset to work alongside other therapists and educational professionals
• Flexibility in adapting to various student needs and diverse educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs within an educational framework
• Develop and execute individualized goals and treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students during the school day
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Communicate students’ progress and needs effectively to parents, teachers, and the special services team
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based team activities
• Adapt equipment and modify environments to support student access and participation
• Travel between school sites as necessary
