Senior Mammography Technologist

Overview This radiology position performs a variety of radiological procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting, fixed or mobile. The technologist produces high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and professional manner. Responsible for required quality control activities as mandated by MQSA and the FDA, either as designated Quality Control technologist under supervision. Responsibilities Perform breast radiologic procedures to support diagnosis and treatment in outpatient settings, ensuring high-quality images and patient comfort. Conduct required quality control activities in accordance with MQSA and FDA guidelines. Required Qualifications Formal radiologic technology training program meeting the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire. National Provider BLS certification—American Heart Association upon hire. National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) upon hire. National Registered Technologist – Mammography within 1 year of hire. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of full-time mammography experience.
