The demand for new data centers and AI compute is rapidly outpacing the planet's energy capacity. Digital solutions are hitting a power wall as we approach the physical limits of traditional silicon. Conquering this bottleneck means rethinking the fundamental architecture of inference compute. The industry's current path can't meet the need, so we're taking a different approach.

Instead of traditional electronic circuits, we use silicon photonics and an active, programmable metasurface to perform matrix multiplications at the speed of light. Our optical cells are 10,000x smaller than traditional photonic components, enabling unprecedented density. By using photonics instead of electricity, our chips become more efficient as they scale. This architecture will deliver up to 100 times the energy efficiency of existing solutions while significantly improving performance for large-scale AI inference.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced recruiting lead to join our talent team and support the accelerating growth of our engineering organization. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Talent and Recruiting, and will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment efforts for technical roles across the organization. Sourcing strength and curiosity about our technology are top priorities for this role. The ideal candidate is passionate about hardware/semiconductor technology and enjoys learning about how complex systems work. This role will represent our cutting-edge hardware to the market and should be able to quickly establish technical credibility with candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for junior and senior individual contributors and managers across technical functions.
• Lead active sourcing efforts for your roles and drive proactive talent identification.
• Manage candidate scheduling and coordination within your search pipelines.
• Partner with others in the Talent organization to establish policies, practices, and workflows to accelerate and enhance hiring efforts.

Qualifications

• Prior experience leading full-cycle technical recruiting within a hardware or semiconductor company.
• Exceptional at sourcing senior technical candidates for specialized, hard-to-fill roles.
• Strong understanding of at least one of our major technical verticals - Digital, Analog, Software, Photonics/Optics, or Product Engineering.
• Able to confidently engage and manage relationships with senior technical talent throughout the interview process.
• History of building credibility with internal hiring managers through technical fluency.
• Curious and passionate about the underlying technology. Can articulate complex tech to the market in an understandable way.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and disciplined approach to recruiting. Detail-oriented with strong documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with Ashby (ATS), Metaview (Notetaking/Sourcing), or other AI-driven recruiting tools.
• Automation/tooling driven approach to managing recruiting efforts. Enjoys finding ways to make things run more smoothly and efficiently.
