We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, from pediatric patients to adults and seniors. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced outpatient setting while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

• Tuesday & Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• No hospital call required

Clinical Workflow

• Average of approximately 24 patients per day
• Urgent care services for patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Evaluation and treatment of acute illnesses, minor injuries, and common urgent medical concerns

Compensation

• Guaranteed base salary of $120,000

Key Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and common medical conditions
• Obtain patient histories and perform comprehensive physical examinations
• Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies and imaging, as appropriate
• Assess patients presenting with acute symptoms and determine appropriate treatment or referral
• Recognize conditions requiring emergency care or higher levels of intervention
• Prescribe medications and provide treatment in accordance with applicable regulations and clinical guidelines
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with specialists and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Utilize AI-assisted technology to improve documentation efficiency
• Deliver compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care in a fast-paced clinical environment

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Florida APRN/NP license
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
• National certification through a recognized certifying body
• Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, family practice, or comparable acute care experience preferred
• Must be comfortable evaluating and treating patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage a broad range of acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
