Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to support functional independence
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification
• Valid New Mexico state licensure or eligibility to practice in New Mexico
• Active NM Caregivers account required prior to placement
• Valid state or federal issued photo identification required at all times while on-site
• Ability to fulfill a 36-hour weekly guarantee across a Monday through Friday schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a facility-based or clinical occupational therapy setting
• Familiarity with documentation and compliance standards in a regulated care environment
