Be part of the only Level IV NICU in the region Serve a diverse patient population with complex maternal‑fetal needs Join a respected academic medical center with a strong commitment to education and research Key Responsibilities Provide maternal fetal medicine services including: High‑risk ultrasounds Prenatal consultations Antepartum care Practice within the Albany Med Faculty Physician Group and its affiliated inpatient facilities Teach and mentor medical students, residents , and MFM fellows Participate in scholarly activities , with opportunities for regional/national presentations and publications Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) Eligible for New York State medical licensure Strong clinical skills with a commitment to: Collaborative team‑based care Independent decision‑making Academic and educational excellence The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has five clinical divisions: General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Family Planning, and Urogynecology. The department supports 24 residents and 3 MFM fellows (1 per year). The division of MFM performs fetal echocardiography, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and more advanced procedures.
