Electrician needed to work in an industrial maintenance department. FULL-TIME 50 to 60 hours a week! OT available! $25 to $28+++ an hour and up negotiable based on experience. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various environments, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities: Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and schematics. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and construction plans to accurately execute electrical installations. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes and troubleshoot control systems effectively. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and general handyman duties to ensure seamless integration of electrical components. Conduct routine maintenance on electrical infrastructure to prevent outages and ensure safety compliance on construction sites. Document all work performed accurately in reports and logs while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications: Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams confidently. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and NEC standards. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. Construction site experience including renovation projects and framing carpentry is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprint reading, and electrical code compliance. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
