Cardiac Advanced Heart Failure SPRN - NP/PA - Piedmont Atlanta Overview Advanced Practice Provider - Heart Failure PRN - Atlanta, GA Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Heart Failure team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This is a PRN position needing at least one consistent day a week as well as coverage on an as needed basis. This is a slower paced clinic with a large emphasis on educating patients about their condition and managing their medications. Appointments are scheduled to allow time with each patient. Responsibilities In this role you will: Complete office visits with newly diagnosed patients as well as follow up appointments Spend time educating patients on condition and medication management Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients Collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedules laboratory studies and professional consultations and provide direct patient care services.
