Overview
Join our dedicated team in St. Paul, MN, as a Semi Trailer Mechanic! We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to help maintain and repair our fleet of semi trailers. If you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi trailers, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Inspect trailers for safety compliance and ensure they meet industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Keep work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in trailer technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in mechanics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with semi trailers or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
