Finance Manager

Overview We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and hands-on Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the CFO, this role will oversee day-to-day financial operations while supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and project-based financial analysis across the company. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at both a detailed accounting level and a broader strategic level, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and creative environment. Company Overview We are a dynamic entertainment production company focused on developing immersive experiences, exhibitions, and live entertainment projects around the world. Our small, in-office team works across creative development, production, operations, and strategic planning to bring ambitious projects to life. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ensure the integrity of accounting data and reporting systems. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Collaborate with external accounting partners, vendors, and service providers on reconciliations, reporting, and related financial matters. Help identify and implement process improvements to support efficient and accurate financial operations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting reports for management review. Analyze financial results and provide clear summaries of key drivers, trends, and variances. Support the CFO in developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Provide financial insight and reporting that supports both long term planning and day-to-day decision-making. Assist in maintaining financial models and internal reporting tools. Project & Production Finance Support Partner with producers and project managers to track project financials and support budget oversight across shows and initiatives. Build financial models to evaluate project performance, profitability, and cost assumptions. Help monitor project expenses and identify risks, variances, or opportunities across active productions and exhibition projects. Support financial planning for new and ongoing business initiatives. Work closely with leadership, production teams, and external partners across multiple projects. Contribute to financial planning conversations that support company growth and operational decision-making. Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial team members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial management, or controller-level responsibilities. Experience supporting project-based budgeting and profitability analysis is a critical requirement. Experience in entertainment, media, live events, exhibitions, or other project-based businesses preferred. Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills and comfort building and maintaining financial models. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into practical insights. Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Experience working in a small to mid-sized company or entrepreneurial environment. Compensation

$90,000 – $110,000 USD
