We are currently seeking a SeniorAssociate in our Transaction Advisory Services Group to join our Troy, MI headquarters. Responsibilities:Participate in buyside and sell-side transaction advisory engagementsPerform financial and commercial due diligence and other financial advisory services to middle market companies, private equity investors, and asset-based lendersPrepare detailed financial analysis on target companies to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisionsAggregate, manipulate, and analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks impacting the target companyCreate and design tailored reports to present diligence findings to clientsParticipate and lead client meetings and target site visits while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysisInteract with other functional areas of the practice including tax, audit and other consulting practiceDevelop, mentor, train and manage analysts to assist them in their career development and reaching their career goalsQualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting and/or FinanceCPA License preferredA minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in transaction advisory or audit focused rolesPossess a good balance of strong auditing/accounting skills and corporate finance knowledgeHigh degree of competence using MS Excel and PowerPointAbility to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience working in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and relationship building skillsDemonstrated leadership experience and ability to take initiativeExcellent team playerDoeren Mayhew is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
