Medical Director Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Medical Director to join their team, providing care for cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of GP responsibilities alongside urgent care and leadership duties within the hospital. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian, with doctor hours open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm, Saturdays from 8am to 4pm, and is closed on Sundays. It is a brand-new, 5,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility with a growing client base of over 10,000. The clinic is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and a fully equipped in-house lab to support confident, same-day decision making. The facility is designed with patient comfort in mind, including low-stress handling practices and feline-only exam rooms. There is also a peaceful, private end-of-life suite with a dedicated entrance to support clients during sensitive moments. The hospital is AAHA-accredited and Feline Friendly, offering a full scope of GP services.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a well-trained team of support staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
