- As Director, Multiomic Sciences, you will build and lead one of the industry's most advanced molecular biomarker and multiomics group, integrating Immunoassays, Mass Spectrometry, Genomics, Flow Cytometry, Single-cell technologies, and AI-enabled analytics to transform how disease biology is understood, therapeutic targets are validated, and medicines are developed. Your team will generate actionable biological insights, enable biomarker-driven decisions, de-risk drug development programs, and influence critical portfolio decisions across discovery and clinical development.
- This role sits at the intersection of molecular biology, biomarker sciences, multiomic technologies, translational medicine, and data science, creating a unique opportunity to redefine how molecular biomarkers are discovered, validated, and deployed across the R&D pipeline. - Contribute as a member of the Singapore Quantitative Biosciences (QB) Leadership Team, partnering with the Site Lead and fellow leaders to shape and deliver site strategy and priorities, foster external and internal partnerships, and promote an innovative, and compliant research environment.
- Lead and develop multiple inter-related teams within the Multiomic Sciences group, fostering a high-performing culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and shared ownership. Build organizational capability through talent development and workforce planning, while maintaining accountability for the group's performance, resources, and operational outcomes.
- Develop and execute group objectives, business plans, and Multiomic Sciences strategies aligned with Singapore QB, , and divisional priorities. Lead budget, forecasting, workforce planning, and resource allocation to deliver scientific, operational, and financial objectives while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality and regulatory requirements, data integrity standards, and EHS practices. Influence senior scientific and business leaders to align investments, portfolio priorities, and resource allocation with organizational and business objectives.
- Provide scientific leadership to define and execute the Multiomic Sciences strategy, establish investment priorities, and build a differentiated portfolio of molecular biomarker and multiomic capabilities, including immunoassays, mass spectrometry, genomics, flow cytometry, and advanced omics technologies, to address current and future portfolio needs and strengthen long-term organizational capabilities.
- Drive innovation and scientific excellence through the evaluation, adoption, and advancement of emerging biomarker technologies, next-generation omics platforms, and AI/ML-enabled analytical approaches that enhance scientific insight, improve translational impact, and create new opportunities for therapeutic discovery and development.
- Lead the deployment and application of molecular biomarker and multiomic strategies to support target discovery and validation, mechanism-of-action studies, biomarker qualification, patient stratification, pharmacodynamic assessments, translational research, and data-driven decision-making across discovery and development programs.
- Partner with Therapeutic Area (TA) leaders and Singapore QB TA scientific leaders/point-of-contacts (PoCs) to leverage molecular biomarkers and multiomic approaches to inform critical go/no-go decisions, establish target engagement and proof-of-biology, support dose selection and patient stratification strategies, and accelerate the advancement of portfolio across discovery and clinical development.
- Build and influence strategic partnerships across internal functions, external research institutions, contract research organisations, healthcare systems, and technology providers to advance scientific priorities, accelerate execution, and enhance organisational impact.
- Represent the organisation as a scientific leader in molecular biomarkers and multiomics through publications, presentations, external collaborations, and scientific thought leadership. Influence scientific dialogue, shape industry perspectives, contribute to biomarker and multiomics strategy across therapeutic areas, and enhance the visibility, impact, and reputation of our science.

- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Translational Medicine, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Analytical Sciences, or a related discipline with at least 8 years of relevant industry experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with at least 12 years of relevant industry experience. Proven industry experience in drug discovery and development is required, and broad therapeutic area exposure across Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Cardiometabolic diseases strongly preferred.
- You should possess substantial scientific and leadership experience in molecular biomarker discovery, development, validation, and deployment to support drug discovery and development. Expertise may include one or more areas such as immunoassays, flow cytometry, mass spectrometry, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, single-cell technologies, biomarker sciences, translational medicine, computational biology, or related disciplines.
- Expertise in applying multidisciplinary molecular biomarker and multiomic approaches to elucidate complex biological mechanisms, validate therapeutic hypotheses, support biomarker strategies, and advance drug discovery and development is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of disease biology, mechanisms of action, biomarker qualification, translatability, clinical pharmacology, and translational medicine, with a proven ability to translate scientific insights into impactful R&D outcomes.
- Experience in building, leading, and developing high-performing multidisciplinary scientific teams, with experience in coaching, talent development, organizational change, capability building, workforce planning, and resource management will be considered as a strong plus. Effective at driving strategic outcomes, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative, innovative, and high-accountability culture.
- Demonstrate a strong strategic thinking ability, business acumen, and decision-making capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to navigate business complexity, solve challenging problems, assess risks and trade-offs, and make sound decisions that balance short-term execution with long-term organizational, portfolio, and capability goals. Demonstrated ability to anticipate scientific, technological, regulatory, and organizational trends and translate them into differentiated capabilities and portfolio impact.
- Strong leadership, influence, and communication skills, with a proven ability to build partnerships across functions and maximize the impact of people, capabilities, and investments. Demonstrated success aligning diverse stakeholders around strategic priorities, securing commitment to key initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of meaningful scientific and business outcomes.
- Finally, you are expected to have a strong capacity for change leadership and innovation, inspiring others to embrace new ways of thinking, working, and solving problems.
