MRI Technologist Contract Position

Advance your career as an MRI Technologist in a dynamic imaging department within a state-of-the-art teaching hospital. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity setting serving adult and pediatric patients from across the emergency, ICU, and outpatient spectrum.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour night shifts
• Monday through Thursday, 7:00 PM 5:30 AM
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week contract

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; first-time travelers welcomed
• Valid ARRT(R) or NMTCB, plus ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical and technical skills with Siemens 1.5T MRI magnets
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused attitude
• Ability to excel in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of MRI procedures on adults and pediatric patients from various hospital units, ensuring diagnostic images are of the highest quality
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and referring healthcare providers
• Follow all safety protocols and best practices to ensure patient wellbeing
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled, with a fair rotation among all technologists
• Provide support for holiday coverage, unless time off is approved in advance
• Maintain professional attire (black scrubs) and uphold departmental and organizational values
