Position: Job Coach (contract role) - Cleveland, Ohio Location: Cleveland, OH Job Id: 1175 # of Openings: 1 Job Summary This role will provide Service Coordination to participants referred to Workforce Services by the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities office. The candidate will implement the company mission and abide by all Charles Taylor Policies and Guidelines and those identified by the referral source to ensure that participants receive timely, efficient and quality services. Essential Functions Have good social and communication skills, patience, and time management skills. Demonstrate confidence, honesty and reliability with the ability to carry out a professional code of ethics. Knowledge of computers and basic office software (Word, Excel). Be goal‑oriented and highly organized. Provide on‑site job coaching and teaching to individuals with disabilities, including: Contact or meet with participants on site or off site to provide on‑the‑job supports. Implement hands‑on and/or supportive guidance to ensure that the individual successfully retains the position secured and learns the position duties. Ensure that the participant is compliant with program and employment requirements and report to the VRC any significant issues. Model professional behavior and teach employment‑related soft skills. Complete legible, well‑written reports on each case in accordance with requirements specified by the VRC. Understand the Americans with Disabilities Act, how to request an accommodation, and what is required to work with individuals who have disabilities, including basic disability knowledge. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Preferred knowledge in working with people with disabilities. Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and be willing to travel. Must have excellent communication skills and problem‑solving abilities.
