About The Role (Director of Treasury)
- Develop and execute treasury strategy, operating plan, policies, performance measures, and multi-year capability roadmap.
- Build scalable treasury capabilities (governance, processes, controls, technology).
- Lead cash forecasting, liquidity management, and short-/long-term liquidity planning (incl. stress testing).
- Lead investment portfolio strategy/execution (cash deployment, maturity/duration, liquidity segmentation, counterparty/custody, policy compliance).
- Manage banking/financial institution relationships; lead treasury operations (cash positioning, bank administration, signatories, payment controls, fraud prevention, compliance, documentation).
- Manage intercompany funding/settlement processes; partner with Tax/Accounting/Legal.
- Support capital markets/financing (credit facility administration, covenant compliance, lender communications, interest rate risk, credit rating/debt access).
- Recommend capital allocation (liquidity reserves, investments, debt, acquisitions, shareholder returns).
- Build financial risk management framework (FX, interest rate, liquidity, counterparty); evaluate hedging/derivatives and partner on accounting/reporting.
- Support strategic transactions (acquisitions/divestitures/licensing) via treasury due diligence.
- Lead treasury technology roadmap (Kyriba, connectivity, reporting, automation/AI).
Insurance
- Lead property & casualty and D&O program administration; annual renewals/placements; broker/carrier management.
- Oversee global clinical trial insurance programs; partner across functions for risk/contractual requirements.
Requirements
- BS/BA (or MBA/MS/MA) with 12+ (or 10+) years in treasury, capital markets, investments, corporate finance, and/or insurance.
- Deep corporate treasury/insurance knowledge; advanced modeling/forecasting/stress testing.
- Experience with credit facilities, debt compliance, capital markets; corporate insurance placement/design.
- Working knowledge: hedge accounting/ASC 815 and related reporting/controls.
- Kyriba or other TMS, bank connectivity/process transformation (preferred); AI/workflow automation/analytics.
- Preferred: acquisition/geographic expansion experience; CTP/CFA/CPA/MBA/MS Finance.
Compensation/Benefits
- Base salary: $181,500–$247,000; annual bonus (target 35%) and equity incentive eligibility; retirement match, paid leave/vacation/holidays, medical/dental/vision.
