Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join our surgical services team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
• Ensure all instruments are adequately sterilized and maintained in optimal conditions.
• Assist with inventory management and the organization of sterile supplies.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless workflows during operations.
• Participate in quality assurance and infection control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• National certification in Health Systems Pharmacy Administration (HSPA) is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

This position operates on a day shift with a 5x8-hour schedule, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

• Floating to sister facilities may be required.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission for approval based on facility needs.
