Backend Software Engineer (Product)

Salary: $198,000 - 295,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for 5+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience
• You should be adept at developing systems with substantial complexity and nuanced business rules
• We value experience or strong interest in building advanced agentic workflows that connect multiple systems and tools
• You should have experience in a remote-first environment and communicate effectively in that setting
• We look for a collaborative mindset, including comfort with RFCs, code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Hands-on familiarity with enterprise integrations such as SSO, SCIM-based provisioning, audit logs, MFA, and delegated access
• You should bring a strategic approach that balances product value, business priorities, and engineering quality
• We expect a willingness to work across the stack to create impact

• Build and enhance our API and CLI to support powerful, intuitive workflows for technical users
• Design MCP server and client implementations that broaden access to our platform
• Create and roll out a next-generation access control system, including RBAC, admin request and approval flows, and tiered admin roles
• Own full-stack product improvements end to end, from backend policy enforcement to admin-facing experiences, with a focus on reliability, usability, and security
• Propose and deliver scalable, well-structured systems in partnership with our broader team
