About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 48 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience, 2 years of specialty experience License: Active RN License; temporary license will not be accepted Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - 2+ Years of Client Experience - 2+ Years of Specialty Experience - BLS - ACLS Description: The position is for a Rapid Response RN. This role requires significant clinical skills in a fast-paced environment. Staff will be working in an ICU/CCU setting. Candidates will be working with a patient ratio of 2:1. The unit is staffed with a supervisor on every shift. Personal Care Technicians (PCTs) are also available on the unit. Equipment used varies by patient needs. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Every other weekend scheduling is required. Floating to other units is expected as needed. Procedures performed include central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions. Candidates should adhere to a clean and professional dress code, wearing royal blue scrubs. Clean and healthy nails are required, with no artificial nails or gel. Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer. Body art should be covered whenever possible, and visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
