Physical Therapist, PRN, Outpatient

Schedule Days: Monday–Saturday. Clinic location depends on need. Daily hours are clinic-dependent. Position Highlights Location: High Point, North Carolina Status: PRN (Per Diem) Qualifications Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina; active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association encouraged. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school required. CPR certification required every two years. Responsibilities Provides patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring evaluations and treatments are comprehensive, functional, and consistent with the Standard of Practice. Maintains accurate patient documentation, completing written evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes, patient/family education, charges, departmental statistics, and ICD codes per policy. Meets department financial and productivity standards, understanding budgeted expectations and adjusting individual schedules to meet patient and departmental needs. Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency and identifies quality and operational opportunities. Promotes professional development and education of other health care workers, conducts in‑service training, and enhances safety. Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students to develop clinical skills and ensure quality patient care. Communicates in a professional and timely manner with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers. Provides appropriate patient care according to age/developmental guidelines, demonstrating age‑appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities. Adheres to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment through communication, interpersonal relationships, and team building. Compensation Base compensation within the listed pay range $49.00 – $49.00 per hour, based on qualifications, skills, experience, and training.
