Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and adjusting treatments as needed.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records system to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies at all times.
• Manage multiple shifts, including day, evening, and night rotations, to meet unit requirements.
• Address patient needs promptly and communicate effectively with patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.
• Be able and willing to work all three shifts each week of the contract, including weekends and holidays.
• Have previous contract or travel nursing experience in ICU settings.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking and communication skills.
