American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier aerospace fabrication facility in Tacoma, WA looking for a dual-threat CNC Machinist . This is a high-level role for a professional who thrives on the complexity of aerospace components and high-tolerance manufacturing.

What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist:

Multiaxis Milling: Set up, program, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills
Lathe Operations: Set up and operate CNC lathes (experience with live tooling is a major plus!).
Technical Interpretation: Masterfully interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards.
Strategy & Setup: Independently select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding for diverse materials.

Details for CNC Machinist:

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $36.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Opportunities for Overtime available!)

Requirements for CNC Machinist:

Aerospace Fluency: Expert ability to read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints and GD&T.
Independence: Ability to develop complete programs from scratch, including toolpath strategy
Ability to operate CNC Lathe
