Job Description
The Side Loader Operator is tasked with safely operating a 30,000-lb capacity side loader to transport small and large metal materials throughout the facility. This role is vital in supporting production by staging materials, loading machines, and ensuring efficient material flow in a fast-paced metal manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 30,000-lb capacity side loader to transport materials.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating sit down forklifts.
• Ability to use a tape measure.
• Experience with side loaders.

Work Environment
This role is set in a steel manufacturing facility, where employees work around large pieces of steel, metal, copper, and brass. Safety is the top priority in this non-climate controlled environment, with work hours on the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:00pm, following a month of training on the 1st shift.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kennesaw, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
