Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Case Manager to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of up to 20-22 patients, focusing on care coordination and discharge planning.
• Utilize InterQual criteria to perform admission reviews and ensure eligibility for benefits.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social services, to support patient care.
• Participate in weekend coverage at least 2 times in a 4-week schedule to meet departmental needs.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain accurate documentation using Epic.
• Initiate prior authorizations and follow through on needs assessments and order DME as needed.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License; required before start
• At least 2 years of experience in acute hospital inpatient case management
• Knowledge of InterQual and Epic systems
• Willingness to work at least two weekend shifts in a four-week schedule
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Must have recent acute hospital experience, not older than 6 months
