Physician (Full Time/Part Time)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: \n
\n•    Collaborate effectively with intra- and interdepartmental staff to administer patient treatment according to nationally recognized treatment standards, ensuring thorough documentation using an electronic health record (EHR) system.\n
\n•    Conduct comprehensive patient exams, write detailed evaluations, and generate accurate reports.\n
\n•    Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans.\n
\n•    Manage patient medications, including prescribing and monitoring therapeutic outcomes.\n
\n•    Complete reclassifications and other required patient reviews as indicated.\n
\n•    Make referrals for specialized care or treatment when appropriate.\n
\n•    Perform all duties in compliance with scope of practice guidelines, organizational policies, procedures, protocols, and relevant professional standards.\n
\n•    Participate actively in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings and activities, including peer reviews.\n
\n•    Engage in collaborative agreements as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.\n
\n•    Manage a caseload averaging up to 2.5 patients per hour\n
\n
Required Qualifications: \n
\n•    Education: Master’s Degree in Medicine (MD/DO)\n
\n•    Licensure: Active Ohio Medical License\n
\n•    Board Certification: Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine\n
\n•    Healthcare-professional level CPR certification\n
\n•    Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification\n
