Position Title Community Engagement Internship Student Status Work Study Optional –You are not required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. Work Location Springfield off campus employers Department efactory-- Center for Business and Economic Development (CBED) Hiring Range 16.25 Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Department/Employer Operating Hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm How many hours per week are required? 10-12 Description of Primary Duties Work with Local Agencies: Match with local non-profit agencies to work 10-12 hours per week throughout the academic year. Earn While You Learn: Receive a paycheck through Federal Work Study funding. Develop Leadership Skills: Learn civic responsibility and nonprofit leadership skills. Expand Your Horizons: Broaden your educational experience and awareness of community needs. Make a Difference: Provide valuable services, insights, and energy to the Springfield community. Community Service Projects: Participate in at least one service project in the community each semester.
