As a Food Runner, you'll be in constant motion, ensuring that dishes are delivered quickly and accurately to our guests. Your role is crucial in creating a delightful dining experience, and we value your ability to communicate effectively and handle guest requests with enthusiasm .
Key Responsibilities:
- Read tickets and run food efficiently.
- Describe dishes being served and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Retrieve items guests may need to enhance their meal experience.
- Assist servers with side work during quieter times.
- Ensure the station is fully stocked for both BOH and FOH needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Qualifications and Key Attributes:
- Well-groomed and presentable.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and perceptiveness to guests' needs.
- Ability to remain calm and positive in stressful situations.
- Close attention to detail and the ability to take direction.
- Capable of handling guest compliments and concerns with management support.
