Registered Nurse - MedSurg Ortho/Neuro

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 hour nights, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

The MedSurg Ortho/Neuro unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Perform comprehensive assessments and monitoring of patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Coordinate with the charge nurse and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system (EPIC).
Provide compassionate patient care and support to patients and families.
Float to other MedSurg units as needed, ensuring adaptability and teamwork.

Current RN license in good standing.
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
Basic arrhythmia knowledge; ability to recognize fatal rhythms.
