Job Overview A law firm seeks a Junior Tax Associate to join its New York office. The candidate will engage in corporate, M&A, and international tax matters, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative environment. Duties Assist in planning, controversy, and transactional tax work. Collaborate with partners and clients on tax-related projects. Engage in research and analysis of federal tax law developments. Participate in client meetings and provide strategic tax advice. Requirements 1-3 years of tax experience in a law firm setting. Superior academic credentials and intellectual rigor. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Barred in New York or eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency in corporate, M&A, and international tax law.
