Position Opportunity The role involves front‑line laboratory tasks focused on improving departmental performance and maintaining food quality and safety standards. This position offers exposure to lab equipment and collaboration with technicians of all experience levels. Essential Duties / Responsibilities Perform routine quality control testing on aerosol dairy products, including physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Conduct sensory evaluations and assist in product development trials. Maintain accurate records of tests and results, generating reports as required. Carry out daily laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Determine exposure or potential impacts on product quality and collaborate with superiors on improvements. Demonstrate basic computer skills (Excel, Word, and ability to read and manipulate drawings). Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies, equipment, and maintenance activities with supervisor coordination. Communicate with various departments across the organization. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of experimental data. Troubleshoot technical issues and equipment malfunctions, reporting needed repairs and maintenance. Apply 80/20 principles to daily operations. Maintain data calibration of all quality control equipment and measurement devices. Stay up to date with advancements in laboratory techniques, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines. Prepare and maintain reports, records, and documentation related to laboratory operations, experiments, and safety procedures. Perform daily/weekly data verification of laboratory binder books, quality paperwork and production paperwork and call out needed corrections prior to filing. Keep up to date with daily retention and requested samples of production runs. Create any needed Hold Tag upon request after training. Document any destruction of goods when requested after training. Perform other related duties as assigned. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Bilingual with Spanish and English preferred but not required. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Understanding of laboratory data. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety protocols. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Capable of lifting around 30 pounds. Committed to maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and ethical work environment. Willingness to adapt to changing technologies and scientific advancements. Education / Training / Certifications High school or higher degree with experience in Quality, or related field preferred. Travel Requirements No travel requirement for this position.
