Patient Transporter - Transporters

Patient TransporterTransports patients to their inpatient bed and/or to and from other areas such as admitting, surgery, therapy or radiology in a safe and timely manner. Retrieves medical records, lab results, supplies and medications as required. Prioritizes duties to facilitate department flow. Maintains and cleans equipment.Ensures that established safety procedures are followed throughout the transportation process.Monitors the proper functioning of all transportation equipment on a daily basis.Knowledge of patient safety, basic transportation equipment, infection control processes, clerical skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and good communication and organizational skillsHigh School DiplomaBLSWork Schedule: 11AM - 7:30PMWork Type: Part Time
