JOB SUMMARY:

EmpathyKare Home Care is seeking dependable and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and CNAs to provide non-medical in-home care and support to clients.

Positions may include personal care, homemaker services, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and assistance with activities of daily living.

We are looking for caregivers who are reliable, caring, professional, and able to work independently in the client's home.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and changing bed linens.
• Prepare or assist with meals.
• Provide companionship and supervision.
• Assist with grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility when included in the client's care plan.
• Provide medication reminders only when applicable.
• Follow the client's individualized care plan.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Report changes in the client's condition or concerns to the office.
• Maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
• Arrive on time and work all scheduled shifts.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• PCA, HHA, CNA, or previous caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA certification is NOT required for PCA/HHA positions.
• Must be dependable and have reliable attendance.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work independently in a client's home.
• Must be comfortable providing personal care when required.
• Must be comfortable working in homes with cats and/or dogs .
• Must have good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Must be able to follow written care plans and complete required documentation.
• Must successfully complete required background checks and pre-employment requirements.
