The company is targeting $50 billion in annual revenue within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.The Yard Associate is responsible for supporting the accurate preparation, handling, and delivery of materials to customers and job sites. This role plays a key part in ensuring orders are fulfilled efficiently, safely, and with a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Pick, stage, and prepare materials for delivery based on work orders or customer requestsLoad, unload, and transport materials safely using appropriate equipmentVerify order accuracy, including quantities and product condition, prior to deliveryAssist with organizing and maintaining inventory and staging areasOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficientlyDeliver materials to job sites or customer locations as requiredProvide excellent customer service during deliveries and interactionsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPEComplete basic documentation related to deliveries, inventory, and order trackingPerform additional duties as neededWhat you'll bring:Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to safely handle and move materials of varying sizes and weightsGood communication and teamwork skillsCustomer-focused mindset and professionalismBasic math skills and ability to follow instructionsReliability and strong work ethicExperience in warehouse, delivery, or material handling rolesExperience operating forklifts or similar equipmentFamiliarity with building materials or industrial productsValid driver's license (if driving is required)Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plusAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftAbility to lift and move materials as requiredAbility to perform work in warehouse, yard, and/or outdoor environmentsComfortability with exposure to varying weather conditions and equipment operationAbility to work early mornings, extended hours, or travel between locations if requiredWhat you'll earn:Health Care BenefitsPaid Time OffBenefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
