Weekday-Only Insurance Verification Specialist

Insurance Verification Specialist at Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at the Star Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, nights or calls. Interface with patients and families, physicians and staff. Update patient demographics/information in the system. Verify insurance benefits, obtaining proper authorization from the insurance carrier. Determine what funds to collect upon admission. Notify patients of monies due and document the information in the billing system. Other duties as required or requested by the chain of command.
