Pipe Layer (Instalador de Tuberías) Apache Junction, AZ. The Pipe Layer will assemble, install, and replace pipe systems and related components, including metal, plastic, ceramic, and composite materials; install plumbing fixtures. Responsibilities Assembles and installs piping and tubing systems that conduct water, steam, air, and other fluids, solids, or gases in and around buildings and structures. Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines (laterals) from buildings to the point of attachment. Handles and moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers, pipefitters, and steamfitters. Qualifications 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred. Experience working with piping systems and fixtures; adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions. Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly. Possesses a strong work ethic and desire to learn. Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods. Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
