Medical Channel Strategy and Engagement Lead

Pfizer seeks a Medical Channel Strategy and Engagement Lead to develop and execute omnichannel digital engagement strategies across therapeutic areas including Oncology, Primary Care, Specialty, and Vaccines. The role involves leading a team to optimize healthcare professional communication through integrated digital platforms, scientific content dissemination, and media channel management while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead team to design and execute omnichannel medical engagement strategies across priority medicines and therapeutic areas
Develop scientific content dissemination frameworks integrating digital platforms, audience journeys, and channel optimization
Oversee medical media buys, vendor partnerships, and performance monitoring across digital and social channels
Serve as escalation point for digital engagement, channel operations, and cross-functional optimization issues
Collaborate with global and local medical leadership to establish best practices for precision healthcare professional engagement

Requirements

Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent)
Minimum 7+ years pharmaceutical industry experience
2+ years Medical Affairs, Scientific Publications, or Medical Communications experience
Demonstrated leadership experience influencing peers across matrix organizations
Expert knowledge of external healthcare professional marketplace and engagement channels
Understanding of global and local regulations impacting medical information dissemination
Experience managing people, technology, and financial resources at scale
