Landscape Construction Lead Installer

Wood Lawn & Landscaping, LLC is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Lead Installer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in producing exceptional work, leading a crew, and creating beautiful outdoor living spaces for our clients.

Position Summary

The Landscape Construction Lead Installer is responsible for leading a crew in the installation of residential and commercial landscape construction projects. This position requires a hands-on leader who can safely and efficiently manage daily jobsite operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, professionalism, and customer service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a landscape construction crew on a daily basis.
• Read and interpret landscape plans and installation specifications.
• Coordinate daily work assignments to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Install patios, walkways, retaining walls, drainage systems, planting beds, sod, irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, and other landscape features.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment, power tools, and company vehicles safely.
• Ensure projects meet company quality standards and client expectations.
• Train, mentor, and motivate crew members while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Communicate project progress, material needs, and jobsite issues with management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
• Complete daily paperwork, time records, and project documentation as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of landscape construction experience .
• Previous experience leading and managing a crew preferred.
• Knowledge of hardscape installation, grading, drainage, planting, irrigation, and landscape construction techniques.
• Ability to operate skid steers, mini excavators, compact equipment, and other construction tools safely.
• Ability to read construction plans and perform layout work accurately.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is a plus).
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
