Reports To: Groove Manager

Our Groove Wellness Bar is the heart of our store's energy — serving handcrafted coffee, fresh juices, smoothies, and wellness-driven beverages with care and creativity. We're looking for an energetic and customer-focused Smoothie Coffee Barista to join our Wellness Bar team.

Position Summary:

As a Smoothie Coffee Barista, you will prepare and serve coffee, smoothies, juices, and other wellness beverages while delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every customer. You'll keep the bar clean, stocked, and running efficiently, working closely with your teammates and the Wellness Bar Manager to keep quality and service consistent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, smoothies, juices, and other beverages according to recipe standards

• Operate the appropriate kitchen equipment to prepare espresso and other beverages

• Greet and interact with customers to deliver a friendly, high-quality experience

• Operate the POS system accurately, handling card transactions

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area in compliance with food safety standards

• Stock and restock ingredients, cups, and supplies throughout each shift

• Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency and minimize waste

• Communicate ingredient or supply shortages to the Wellness Bar Manager

• Support promotions and seasonal menu rollouts as directed by leadership

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a café, coffee bar, juice bar, or similar environment preferred, but not required

• Genuine interest in wellness, nutrition, and high-quality beverages

• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

• Comfortable learning POS systems and basic recipe/prep procedures

• Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
