Summary The position of Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting with organizational projects, strategic planning, and general office operations to ensure that our organization’s logistical needs are met. The Operations Coordinator will report to the VP of Operations and will be an essential part of the smooth daily operation of our business. What You’ll Do Vendor Coordination and Budgeting Schedule and coordinate vendors while fostering relationships, as needed. Remain on budget by always seeking the best prices for supplies and services. Monitor supply stock and place orders as needed. Plant Operations Admin Support Oversee daily functions of the Operations department. Manage Operations files and projects. Ensure that all activities conform to local, federal, industry and company standards. Observe, review, and analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made. Identify and resolve any problems in the production process. Design and maintain clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations. Deliver reports to department heads, management teams and boards of directors to provide insight into the overall efficiency of the organization. Indirect Spend Purchasing Remain on budget by always seeking the best prices for supplies and services. Monitor supply stock and place orders as needed. Cleveland Facility Visitor Management Facilitate cross-channel feedback from customers and employees to management and executive teams. Cleveland Office Management Collaborate with team leaders, managers, and department heads to learn departmental needs and goals. Collaborate with management and executives to set departmental and organization-wide goals. Plant Specific Onboarding / Offboarding Design and maintain clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations. Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree preferred. Significant experience as an operations coordinator, sales, or similar role Experience in the customer service field is a preferred. Strong computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office Highly organized with an aptitude for problem-solving Able to prioritize tasks and work independently. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Strong work ethic. Independently motivated to produce results. Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
