Pipefitter - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Journeyman Industrial Pipefitters for an industrial project in Montville, Connecticut. The project is located at a Rand-Whitney paper mill and involves the prefabrication and installation of a new production line, which will eventually tie into the existing production line during the scheduled October shutdown. This is a great opportunity for experienced industrial pipefitters looking for steady work with significant overtime as the project progresses. Job Details Location: Montville, Connecticut Start Date: Monday, August 31, 2026 Duration: 2–3 months Pay: $40.00 per hour Per Diem: $130 per day, paid 7 days per week as long as all scheduled hours are worked Schedule: First four weeks will be 5/10s, with the schedule increasing to 7/12s when the October shutdown begins Job Duties Prefabricate and install industrial piping for a new production line Measure, cut, fit, and install pipe according to project specifications Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints, and piping plans Perform pipe fabrication and installation with minimal supervision Assist with the eventual tie-in of the new production line to the existing production system Follow all project safety requirements and maintain a safe work environment Maintain a professional attitude and conduct throughout the project Requirements Minimum 7 years of industrial pipefitting experience Strong industrial/manufacturing experience required Must be proficient in reading isometric drawings and blueprints Must have all required hand tools in a lockable gang box; tool bags are not permitted Must provide and wear required PPE at all times Must pass all required pre-employment qualifications and drug screening Must complete required online safety training Must be dependable and able to commit to the project schedule, including the increased hours during the October shutdown #travelers Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
