Hospital Food Service Aide

Encompass Health is seeking a Hospital Food Service Aide to support our patient-centered rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will help patients recover by preparing, assembling, and delivering meals that match prescribed diets and safety standards. Responsibilities include tray line assembly, safe food handling, dishwashing, and maintaining clean kitchen and service areas. You’ll work closely with dietary and clinical teams, follow infection control and sanitation protocols, and provide courteous, timely service that reflects our mission of compassionate, high-quality care.
