Emergency Room Nurse

Emergency Room Nurse Nursing Emergency Room 8 weeks Night shift 6:30 pm - 7:00 am 1 year of experience required Current Registered Nurse license in the state BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required ENPC, TNCC and/or TNS preferred Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. Evaluates outcomes, consults with specialists and ancillary departments as required, and adjusts nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the Emergency Room. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care. Addresses the communication needs of patients and families. Demonstrates initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Holiday coverage required.
