Job description & requirements: Title: RN Medical / Surgical/ Telemetry Location: Sioux City, IA, 51102 Duration: 13 weeks (Possibilities of Extension) Hours: 12 hours/Day Shifts: Day / Night Employment Type: Travel or Contract Weekly Hours – 36 hours. Pay Rate for Local Candidates : $50.08/hr. or $1,802.88/week (W2). This rate applies to candidates living within a 50-mile radius of the hospital. Pay Rate for Travel Candidates: $57.44/hr. or $2,067.84/week (including per diem). This rate applies to candidates who travel or live more than 50 miles from the client location. Estimated Payrate Breakdown for Travel Candidates: WEEKLY TOTAL COMPENSATION $ 2,067.84 WEEKLY W-2 WAGES: $ 821.84 WEEKLY STIPEND (PER DIEM) $ 1,246.00 HOURLY W-2 WAGES: $ 22.83 HOURLY STIPEND (PER DIEM) $ 34.61 Required: Updated Resume Immunization docs required: Covid Vaccination Card/Exemption Flu Vaccination A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medicatons within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Performs a variety of tasks. Communicate and educate patients and families. Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Carries out physician orders. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
