Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to join our team at our Kuykendal & Louetta location in Texas. The ASM will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in managing all aspects of store operations to achieve sales and profitability goals. Lead, train, and motivate store associates to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high operational standards. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction. Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of store staff. Analyze sales reports and assist in developing strategies to improve store performance. Step in as acting Store Manager in their absence. Qualifications Previous retail management or assistant management experience preferred. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively. Proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
