Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Princeton, West Virginia. This position involves providing respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in an acute care setting. The role encompasses managing ventilators, performing ABGs, administering breathing treatments, and supporting patient airway management in diverse inpatient and emergency department environments.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. The shifts are scheduled from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with the expectation to work every other weekend.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, current certifications including ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), PALS, STABLE Certification, at least 2 years of experience, and experience in ER, ICU, or inpatient adult settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Peds experience is preferred; willingness to train on pediatric roles is acceptable.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing breathing treatments, ventilator management, ABG drawing and sample handling, EKGs, and assisting with intubation support. The department has a variety of ventilators, and there is always a lead therapist or supervisor onsite for guidance. The facility employs a points system to assign different patient care areas and ensures a balanced distribution.
